“Sauvage” is a cuvée of Carignan, Grenache Noir and Syrah with only a small part (5 %) aged in barrels for 12 months. The grapes are from vines which are up to 70 years old. The wine is vinified mainly in concrete and stainless steel tanks (except the barrel part). On the nose the wine shows lovely notes of cherries, plums, cinnamon, mocha, leather, thyme, geraniums and essential nuances. In mouth this wine is full-bodied, impressing with an interesting structure, complex and juicy with a lot of fruit and hints of herbal and mineral notes. The wine is elegant and has an irresistible charm combined with a smooth finish
