“1792” is a Grenache Noir based wine, which shows the outstanding fruitiness and structure of the grape variety at its best. The vines that produce this wine are up to 100 years old. The wine in the glass impresses immediately with dark, nearly black colours. On the nose you will find lovely aromas of cherry and dark berries, elder, cinnamon and dried plums. In the mouth there is a repetition of these aromas combined with a taste of tobacco and light bitter chocolate. This wines was stored over 2 years in a 6,000 litre wood barrel. The aromas of the wood are well balanced and give this wine a great and opulent finish.
