Our wines are a wonderful expression of terroir. We are often surprised by the quality levels of our vineyard parcels. By strictly limiting the yield (less than 30 hectoliters per hectare), mostly picking by hand (over 90 per cent) and using manual selection after de-stemming , we have successfully developed a range of quality wines that meet the highest standards and yet are affordable for everyone. Below is an overview of our white, rose and red wines.
| M de Moyau |
M is a blend of Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Vermentino, and Viognier. This wine is wonderfully fruity with aromas of grapefruit, lemon, peach, clove, mineral notes and spring flowers. On the palate, it is supple with lots of fruit and a juicy bite. This wine is very elegant, aromatic, delicately spicy and has a long finish.
| L’Unique |
L´Unique is the premium white wine of the estate. This wine comes from a ‘Unique’ 0.3 Hectare parcel of land with vines up to 40 years old. Half of the blend (of equal parts of Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc) was aged in oak barrels and the other half in a stainless steel tank. The wine shows beguiling aromas of grapefruit, pear, star fruit, vanilla, aniseed, toast, brioche, cloves and almonds. On the palate, it has a strong, supple and seductive blend of spicy fruit with mineral notes. It is very elegant, with a long finish.

The Rosé is produced from Grenache Noir and Cinsault grapes and is made in a stainless steel tank. The wine has a beautiful nose of strawberries, raspberries, cherries, almond blossoms, violets and subtle pepper notes. On the palate, juicy, fresh, beautiful fruit, great charm and a delightful finish. Simply delicious.
| Le Petit M |
"le petit m" is a blend of Cinsault and Grenache Noir grapes. This wine releases a pronounced fruity bouquet of blackcurrant, cherries, plums, licorice, spice and floral notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, with lots of fruit, delicately spicy, mineral, very velvety, enormous charm and a long finish. The wine for the BBQ!
| L’Aventure |
"L´Aventure" is a blend of Grenache Noir, Syrah and Cinsault grapes. The wine has a beautiful bouquet of raspberries, cherries, blueberries, herbs, floral notes and hints of spices. On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety, with lots of fruit - very charming and elegant. The wine shows finesse, freshness and a long finish.
| Le Sauvage |
The "Sauvage" is partially matured in oak barrels and is a blend of Carignan, Grenache Noir and Syrah. The grapes are hand-picked from vines that are up to 70 years old. The wine shows a wonderful nose of raspberries, cherries, plums, cinnamon, mocha coffee, truffle, leather and geraniums. On the palate, it is full-bodied, impressively structured, complex, juicy, and velvety, with lots of fruit, spices and mineral notes. The wine is elegant and exudes an irresistible charm with a very long finish.
|Terre de Pierres |
The "Terre de Pierres" is a blend of Grenache Noir, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes. This wine is matured for about a year in French oak barrels. The grapes are hand-picked from vines that are on average 40 years old. The yield is limited to a low 25 hectoliters per hectare. The wine gives off a beguiling bouquet of blackcurrants, blackberries, licorice, tobacco, cloves, pepper, truffle, leather, chocolate, almonds and violets. On the palate, it is powerful and complex, with velvety tannins, and has mineral and rich fruit tastes, fine notes of wood, and a very elegant, long finish.

The „1792“ is a primarily Grenache Noir-based wine, and is a wonderful expression of the fruit and structure of this grape variety. The vines for this wine are up to 100 years old. In the glass, the dark, almost black colour impresses. On the nose, it possesses delightful cherry-liqueur flavors and wonderfully harmonious notes of dark berries, elderberry, cinnamon and prune. In the mouth, the olfactory notes are repeated almost 1:1, and are supplemented by notes of tobacco, dark roasted flavours and slightly bitter chocolate. The wine was matured for 2 years in new oak barrels and older oak vats. The wood tones are elegantly bound and give the wine an opulent finish.

The "Enfin" is a blend of Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes which, in only its second year of production, was nominated one of the best wines in the South of France, winning the “Grande Medaille d’Or des Grands Vins du Languedoc Roussillon". The wine was matured for about two years in new French oak barrels. The grapes come from the best plots of our vineyard and are 40 years old on average. The intense bouquet reveals aromas of blackberries, raspberries, cherries, plums, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, cedar, cinnamon, leather, smoke, herbs, pepper and violets. Full-bodied, spicy, mineral, with plenty of fruit, and lots of soft tannin, this wine is complex; it has an elegant and incredibly long finish.
| Hallucinant |
„Hallucinant“ is the new flagship wine of Château Moyau. The wine is based almost exclusively on the grape variety Mourvèdre and was aged for some 24 months in new French oak barrels. Animalistic, concentrated, intense and big - this could be the short description! The bouquet reveals concentrated aromas of cherries, plums, blackberries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, leather, balsamic notes, bitter chocolate, herbs, spices and violets. Complex on the palate, lots of dark fruit, intense aromas, spicy, seductive succulence, minerality, complex, dense tannins, velvety, extremely concentrated, yet elegant, too. The almost endless finish shows subtle bitter notes, spices and fruit. A wine that really lives up to its name - just „Hallucinant“.
