Limited investment possibility for the “Friends of Moyau“
Since we started with the project Moyau, we managed to get a lot of “friends” for Château Moyau and our wines, both from the gastronomy and the gourmet area. We are especially proud of the fact that currently our wines are served in several “star”-decorated restaurants in France and Germany. Nevertheless, we will not rest on our laurels, but continue with our offensive for more quality. Consequently, we invested in 2006 again to a high degree in new technology, tanks and barriques and new growings (Syrah, Mourverdre, Vermentino, Roussane and Bourboulenc).
Wine as an investment is becoming more and more popular. However, a lot of those offerings lack a personal bond between the investor and the producer of the wine. That’s why we as a creative winery decided to offer a small limited circle of investors the chance to participate directly from our wines. With an investment starting from only 2.500 Euro it is now possible to acquire one of the limited debt certificates issued by Château Moyau. Each certificate has an attractive fixed return of 7 % p.a. Since the returns are distributed in wine this investment is, at least in the way its return is distributed, to 100% “liquid”. Around Christmas time, each investor can chose wines in the amount of his return from the current variety of our wines.
